A Moving Institute Film, Dog Days

I had the great privilege of working for 3 months with Kasey and Laura Hinson, both directors of the film. Together we were able to accomplish a lot in a short time and it was because everyone was clothed in humility, respecting the gifts in one another and always pliable for the best interests of the film. As a creative director I could not have asked for a smoother job. It was a joy to work with this team.

Interstitial Moments of Content in the Film to Explain Concepts in an Informative and Captivating Manner

 

The Art Direction was based on the board game Monopoly. It was fun to re-purpose the board and customize icons to fit with the theme of Dog Days

 
 

This project was full of illustration moments, going from live action to a hand drawn world

 

Above is a compilation of drawings that were used inside the film. Each moment I brought to life through animation. Moving in and out of scenes while morphing from live action to drawing.
